Stillness in the Georgian Valley

The sun slowly rises Filling the valley With puddles of liquid sunshine A resolute silence Bores its way into the morning light Stillness, The Soul of this place Soft, sweet, utterly Zen   II. Silence pours itself deep within The crevices of this valley Creating a canvas Upon which stick figured trees Tall and lanky Hold firm Pencil sketched into the landscape Branches steely and randomized A million lacy tendrils Splayed across a landscape Creating a Still-life

I Will Go Walking

Uphill and downhill, around and about, around and around, and around.   Trees on the left, and trees on the right; trees so high, they cover the sky as they reach, reach, reach for the stars in the night, starry and star-studded, and twinkling so bright.  Trees are stark, the wind does not blow, as I wind, wind, wind up the mound through the snow.  Stretching and moaning, and groaning I go, uphill and downhill to the valley below.  Silence envelopes me, sits in my ears, like radar it catches everything that it hears, which is nothing, no- thing do I hear, as I trudge up the hill. ...

Falling Leaves

Leaves are falling , as falling they must. Falling leaves, from the trees in an autumnal gust Swirling and swishing, swaying and swishing, Swaying or swishing with gentle assists.     The breeze is rustling the leaves as they fall, Sailing through air as they tumble, freefall Swishing and sailing and blown by the wind The blustery wind, which makes leaves bend and spin Swirling and spinning, they lite on the ground, First spinning, funneling, racing around.   Then singing they must… They sing and they whistle While twisting and swaying...

Sky Screen

Streaming white tails Streaking through azure blue skies Creating skyscapes A billowing explosion of eroding artwork undrapes As jets coordinate to form artificial cloudscapes Where man and nature converge A rolling surge of ever changing drama An artist painting upon a blank skyscreen.

Leaving Ordinary Behind
